Ukrainian Special Operations Forces Achieve Major Success

According to UATV: Between June and July 2023, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) successfully destroyed 13 railway bridges located in temporarily occupied areas of the country. On July 21, 2023, the SOF announced these results as part of a mission designated 'Operation Conductor.'

The targeted bridges were crucial for the Russian military’s logistics network, which supports their ongoing combat operations. By cutting these supply lines, Ukrainian forces aim to degrade the enemy’s ability to sustain its war effort.

Active Operations by Ukrainian Special Units

In addition, it is worth noting that earlier, special forces from the SBU’s 'Alpha' Center for Special Operations struck a coordination hub of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in the temporarily occupied Kherson region. This action further demonstrates the relentless efforts of Ukrainian troops against the aggressor. These achievements highlight the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ commitment to countering Russian aggression on home soil.

The demolition of critical infrastructure, such as railway bridges, significantly hampers Russian military logistics, potentially leading to strategic consequences for their operations in Ukraine. The proactive stance of Ukrainian special units underscores the growing operational capabilities of the Armed Forces and their ability to inflict losses on the enemy in occupied territories. This also may impact the morale of Russian troops and the sustainability of their regional operations.
