Notably, the lowest temperature ever recorded in Kharkiv on July 1 was +7.2°C, set back in 1953.
The current weather conditions and elevated fire risk demand heightened caution from residents, especially given the forecasts for the next few days.
The intense heat and high fire danger across the Kharkiv region require residents to follow safety precautions, such as avoiding campfires in forested areas. The anticipated rain and thunderstorms on July 4 may help reduce risks, but until then, it is crucial to stay vigilant, as the hot days could trigger wildfires.
