Kharkiv residents revealed how much money goes to utilities: up to 35% of income.
Residents of Kharkiv talked about what part of their income goes to pay for utilities and how they feel about the possible increase in tariffs. Many of them are left with very small amounts for living after paying for utilities. This was reported to the correspondent of Novyny.LIVE.
How much are Kharkiv residents willing to spend on utilities. According to some respondents, expenses amount to about 10% of their budget. Others admitted that utility payments 'eat up' a quarter of their income, and in some cases — even up to 35%. One survey participant even mentioned that over the past 11 years, his family has spent 112 thousand hryvnias.
During the summer, the average bill for Kharkiv residents with rent is about 4-4.5 thousand hryvnias, but in winter it rises to 6-7 thousand hryvnias. Some residents note that after paying for utilities and rent, they are left with only about 1.4 thousand hryvnias per month.
Regarding the intentions of the National Bank to raise tariffs, most respondents expressed negative opinions, stating that they are not prepared for increased expenses and hope for government support.
