Weather Outlook for Kharkiv Region

According to Novyny.live: Residents of Kharkiv Oblast are currently enduring a summer heatwave, but forecasters warn of a dramatic shift in conditions in the coming days. Meteorologists predict thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds that could significantly impact the local weather.

On July 3, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with winds of 3–8 m/s. Overnight temperatures are expected to range from +17 to +22°C, rising to +30 to +35°C during the day. In the city of Kharkiv, nighttime temperatures will hover between +19 and +21°C, while daytime highs will reach +32 to +34°C.

Weather Shift Expected July 4-7

For July 4, meteorologists forecast heavy downpours, thunderstorms, hail, and wind gusts reaching 15–20 m/s. These conditions could negatively affect agriculture and daily life for residents. The following day, July 5, is expected to bring brief rain and thunderstorms, with nighttime lows dropping to +12 to +17°C and daytime highs reaching +20 to +25°C.

On July 6, partly cloudy skies are predicted, with overnight temperatures of +11 to +16°C and daytime highs of +22 to +27°C. The final day of the forecast period, July 7, also anticipates variable cloud cover: no precipitation at night, but possible short-lived rain and thunderstorms during the day.

Given the expected weather changes, it is crucial for residents of Kharkiv Oblast to follow civil protection service safety recommendations during thunderstorms and high winds.

Specifically, people should exercise caution outdoors, being aware of the risk of falling trees or other objects. Additionally, agricultural work should be planned with the forecast in mind, as heavy rains could harm crops.
