Neil Warnock Offers to Manage Manchester United for Free: Reaction to Amorim's Failure.
Neil Warnock Offers His Help to Manchester United
According to The Sun: Neil Warnock is ready to manage Manchester United for free, joking about Ruben Amorim.
GettyPortuguese Amorim is under pressure due to a poor start to the season, and the 'Red Devils' currently sit only 14th in the Premier League, having achieved just two victories in six matches.
Due to the poor results, rumors about a potential coaching change have arisen. Among the candidates are former club player Michael Carrick and Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.
Warnock, however, humorously stated his willingness to help, pointing out Amorim's tactics board during the Carabao Cup match against Grimsby, where the team was eliminated from the tournament.
“When you talk about it, have you ever laughed so much in your life?”
“When he has a little subbuteo table on his lap during the game. Looking at that, I can’t believe he did that in front of the cameras.”
Warnock also stated on talkSPORT:
“I won’t take anything from them; I’ll do it for free. So put my name on the list.”
Warnock's comments became known after he shared an image of the Premier League table, where the names of the clubs were replaced with humorous titles. Manchester United on this table became “Paging Neil Warnock,” to which he captioned his post:
“Call me in January.”
Warnock also mentioned what formation he would choose for the team — a simple 4-3-3 setup.
So far, the club states that Amorim will remain in his position, despite his win rate in the Premier League being only 27.3 percent.
This comment from Warnock sparked interest among fans, as the coach is known for his charisma and experience. Manchester United now finds itself in a difficult situation, and it is unclear whether Amorim will be able to rectify the team’s position in the near future. We will keep an eye on the developments in the club and possible changes in leadership.
