He was waiting for the match on Sunday morning when he suddenly suffered a heart attack.

Despite the swift response of medics, sadly, Raman passed away that same day.

On social media, Hashtag confirmed this sad news:

“Despite all the efforts of emergency services who worked continuously for over 2 hours, Raman unfortunately passed away at just 22 years of age.”

“We want to express our sincere condolences to Raman's family, his teammates, and everyone who was present at Garon Park yesterday.”

“All our teams will hold a minute of silence in his honor.”

The club's founder, Spencer Owen, also expressed his condolences regarding Sidhu.

36-year-old Owen wrote on X:

“Next, discussions began between Inclusive United FC and Hashtag United FC about the possibility of joining the Hashtag family.”

“It was decided that this group would become part of the club structure, and Hashtag Inclusive United was formed in March 2022.”
