Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton described his friend as a 'beautiful soul' in an emotional social media post.

However, his nomadic lifestyle has not always allowed him to be with Roscoe.

One of his friends, Christine Macmillan, spent a lot of time training and caring for Roscoe, as well as Hamilton's other bulldog, Coco, who died in 2020.

“I want you to pay attention to my wonderful friend Kirstin. She trained Roscoe and Coco and treated them like family.”

“She helped watch over their health, and thanks to her, Roscoe lived so long. When I was traveling, she took care of him and loved him as her own. She was there for him every day.”

“I am so grateful to have had her in my life and in Roscoe's life. No one could be better than you, Kirstin. Thank you.”

Macmillan was part of the team that supported Roscoe when he was first diagnosed with pneumonia in April.

It is believed that a combination of western and eastern medicine, as well as acupuncture, helped him recover.

“I hope for one more miracle this time and pray that the hands and hearts of the doctors are directed, provided, and pure.”

Hamilton has a few days left to focus on the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place this weekend.
