The Prospects of Russian Air Attacks

According to The Sun: Actions by Vladimir Putin against NATO allies are causing international concern, forcing the world to try to understand the true intentions of the Russian president.

In the latest episode of the 'Battle Plans Abandoned' program, former intelligence officer Philip Ingram explains the reasons behind recent aerial violations.

Amid a series of aerial intrusions from Moscow that threaten Europe's security, the continent is preparing to counter Putin's aggression.

Ingram notes that the true aim of the Kremlin is to provoke panic and deplete the resources of Western countries. He calls this a 'dangerous game of chicken.'

“This is classic bait, he is deliberately trying to waste Western time, money, and resources on a real war in Ukraine,”

adds the expert.

Continuation of Provocations

According to Ingram, the latest provocations from Russia illustrate 'drawing NATO into the air.' He emphasizes that we are witnessing a significant increase in cases of NATO airspace violations.

“Russian MiG-31 fighters intruded into Estonian airspace for 12 minutes in a senseless act that raised alarm across Europe,”

he says.

In the past two weeks, the continent has witnessed fighter jet incidents, mysterious drone sightings, and coordinated sabotage actions that have affected the operations of many airports.

Drones were detected over several Danish airports, leading to the closure of one for several hours.

These events were a consequence of similar incidents in Norway, airspace violations in Poland and Romania, as well as intrusions into Estonian airspace by Russian fighters.

Ingram points out that Russian media and Kremlin representatives are labeling the recent violations as fake news as part of an information campaign.

“Intrusions into NATO airspace, which I mentioned earlier... were characterized as fake news by Russian speakers,”

notes the expert.

“Russia's deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, claimed that there was no evidence to support the information about Moscow's intrusions into the airspace of NATO countries.”

The 'Underwater World' Plan

However, these recent violations have led to the development of a mass defense plan in Europe, known as the 'drone wall', to prevent future intrusions.

This project involves creating a comprehensive air defense system capable of detecting, tracking, and destroying hostile drones.

This will allow European allies to avoid the need to scramble fighter jets and waste vast resources on first response.

In the latest episode of 'Battle Plans Abandoned', Ingram explains how Russia accuses Europe of spreading “groundless accusations” as part of a misinformation warfare against Ukraine and its Western allies.

He also describes 'military disorientation tactics', which involve unique technologies capable of confusing the enemy, distorting sensor data, and deceiving them.

These tactics Goran describes as 'a war of tricks and deception', emphasizing that the ultimate goal is to confuse, paralyze, and manipulate the opponent.
