According to The Sun: The special forces of the Ukrainian Navy successfully carried out a rescue operation in which they retrieved four soldiers from deep behind enemy lines. This became one of the riskiest missions during the war.

During the operation, they also managed to rescue a medic who had hidden them from Russian forces for three years.

The soldiers, who were wounded at the beginning of the war, ended up in a hospital in the Donbas region shortly before that territory was captured by Russian troops in 2022.

The doctor who cared for them bravely decided to escalate the danger by hiding the fighters from the invasion, knowing that it could jeopardize his life if the Russians learned of his actions.

The miracle is that the medic not only managed to hide the wounded soldiers but also treated their serious injuries, restoring their health while Russian forces were searching for Ukrainian soldiers and their supporters.

Their whereabouts became known thanks to the twin of one of the fighters who returned to Ukraine after a prisoner exchange with Russia.

Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, the head of the Ukrainian Navy, personally oversaw this rescue operation. It was carefully planned, taking into account all risks.
