Nuno Espirito Santo appointed head coach of West Ham: which players he will bet on.
Changes in the head coach position of West Ham
According to The Sun: Nuno Espirito Santo, the new head coach of West Ham, intends to make significant changes to the team roster following the dismissal of Graham Potter.
Potter, who was 50 years old, left his position just two days before the sixth match of the Premier League season.
ReutersHe left the club with only one win in the season, and the team currently sits in 19th place in the table.
Nuno was dismissed by Nottingham Forest earlier this month after a loss to West Ham, which was Potter's only victory this season.
Now he is expected to quickly improve the team's situation to rescue the season.
Items to strengthen the team
The former coach of Wolverhampton and Tottenham urgently needs to improve the defense, as the team has already conceded seven goals from set pieces this season.
Nuno took over as Forest coach in December 2023 and aims to stabilize the team.
Among potential new players he may rely on are Max Kilman and Willy Boly, who have already worked with him at Wolverhampton.
West Ham may also show renewed interest in Ibrahim Sangare, whom they tried to sign in the summer to reinforce the defense.

Another candidate could be the fast forward Chris Wood, who seems to have lost his position under the new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Possible changes in lineups
If Nuno can work actively until January, he may try to sign several new players in the transfer window.
Among those likely to see reduced playing time is James Ward-Prowse, who has been criticized for his performances this season.
In turn, Nuno may have to rely on rookie Sungu Magassu or young Freddy Potts.
Both could meet Nuno's requirements while hoping for an improvement in results at the club.

Now Nuno has accepted the challenge – can he bring the team back to lost form and avoid the threat of relegation from the league?
The situation at West Ham highlights the challenges the team faces this season. Changes in the squad and the emergence of new players could mean that the club has a chance to improve results and climb up from the bottom of the table. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next matches that will be crucial for changing the team's fate.
