Who will not be sent to the front after the conscription: categories of exemption.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainians have been informed about the categories of persons who will not be sent to the front line after conscription.
As noted by 'Khvylia', this information is contained in the Law of Ukraine 'On Military Duty and Military Service'.
During active hostilities in Ukraine, a general conscription for military service is taking place. However, the law clearly defines which categories of conscripts can perform tasks away from the front line or hold positions not related to direct participation in combat. Mobilized citizens cannot be sent to combat zones without the necessary military training.
Who is exempt from front-line service?
Persons with certain chronic diseases are not sent to the front, including:
- disorders of the musculoskeletal system;
- cardiovascular diseases;
- diseases of the digestive system.
Such military personnel may serve in rear units but cannot be included in elite airborne units, marine corps, or assault groups. The military leadership of the country emphasizes that priority is given to individuals with combat experience and the necessary qualifications. Mobilization procedures are periodically reviewed according to the needs of the military, and changes in legislation strengthen the legal regulation of the status of military personnel.
How can students obtain temporary exemption from conscription?
Students of full-time and dual study forms have the right to be exempted from mobilization.
Currently, a record appears in the centralized electronic education accounting system confirming that the student continues their studies.
Educational institutions also provide complete information about students, including those of conscription age who have entered the first year, to territorial recruitment centers.
In educational institutions, students are advised to regularly visit the recruitment centers every six months, as some may be expelled after examinations. Information about expelled students is also sent to the recruitment centers and conscription services.
It was previously reported about the importance of accounting for military personnel in Ukraine.
The military legislation of Ukraine clearly states who is entitled to exemption from front-line service during conscription. Knowing these provisions is important for ensuring the safety and effective functioning of military units.
