Manchester United forced to pay Amorim £12 million in case of dismissal.
According to The Sun: Manchester United is obliged to pay Ruben Amorim a substantial compensation if he is dismissed before November 1, sources report.
The club management continues to support the 40-year-old coach, despite the team showing the worst start of the season since 1992.
GettyAmorim officially became the coach on November 1 last year, replacing Erik ten Hag and interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Portuguese signed a contract for two and a half years, earning £6.5 million a year with an option to extend for another 12 months.
According to information from the Daily Mail, if Amorim is dismissed before his first anniversary in charge, he could receive an impressive £12 million.
Amorim's coaching staff are also entitled to payments if the club decides to terminate him.
Team Problems
Since Amorim's arrival, Manchester United has earned the fewest points among all teams consistently playing in the Premier League — just 31 points in 31 matches.
Amorim's win percentage is the lowest among all managers of the 'Red Devils' since World War II.
However, the club will likely have to endure another seven weeks while this massive compensation package is in effect.
After this disappointing start, the team will play against Chelsea at Old Trafford next weekend, followed by a busy match schedule.
- Away game against Brentford.
- Home match against Sunderland.
- Away match at Anfield against the champions Liverpool.
- A visit from Brighton, a team that often causes problems for United.
Possibility of Changes
On November 1, Manchester United will face Nottingham Forest, and new coach Ange Postecoglou has already proven his skills, winning all five matches against United last season with Tottenham.
However, the situation with Amorim remains uncertain, and the club management will face a challenge if results do not improve.
Some players have reportedly lost faith in Amorim, although the club denies this.
Observations indicate that despite the difficult situation, there are signs of improvement in the team's play.

However, the team still has serious issues with finishing, sitting in 11th place in terms of goals scored and 17th for shooting accuracy percentage.
Rio Ferdinand expressed concern over newcomer Benjamin Sesko, noting that the young player needs to adapt and improve his game.
“I am worried about Sesko. He is not getting any chances, and nothing is being created for him,” Ferdinand said.
Manchester United is currently experiencing a crisis in results under the leadership of Ruben Amorim. The contract expenses that the club will have to pay in the event of his dismissal remain a serious factor in the decision-making process. While the situation in the team raises concerns, the first signs of improvement in play give hope; however, the instability in results remains a key issue that requires urgent resolution. Read also
