Scandal involving the hypnotherapist

According to The Sun: Hypnotherapist Cyril Zattara, accused of drugging and raping dozens of women, has been arrested in France. The 47-year-old man is currently on trial for accusations of sexual assault against 14 women over the past decade and filming 20 alleged victims without their consent.

Zattara, who also works as a dance teacher, admitted his guilt in 10 out of 14 cases but denies filming women without their consent. According to the prosecution, he subjected women to various anesthetic substances and used his hypnotherapy skills to manipulate them.

“It was a horrific situation, and we demand justice for the victims,” emphasized one of the lawyers.

Previously, Zattara took courses in psychology, but his career is now in jeopardy due to serious allegations. The trial is ongoing, and many victims are ready to testify against the defendant.

This scandal attracts attention not only in France but also far beyond its borders. The safety of women and the potential for manipulation of their consciousness through psychological methods have resurfaced as the focus of societal discussions. Despite admitting guilt in some cases, Zattara continues to deny the serial nature of his crimes, making the process likely to be tense and emotionally challenging for all involved. Additionally, this case may lead to a re-evaluation of ethics in hypnotherapy practices and other psychological treatment methods.
