Gabby Logan lost her beloved pet before the World Cup final: how the host found strength.
According to The Sun: Gabby Logan revealed that tears filled her eyes just hours before hosting the broadcast of the historic World Cup final in rugby, as she received sad news about her family.
The BBC host, 50-year-old Gabby, introduced the nation to the triumph of the 'Red Roses' in their match against Canada, which ended with a score of 33-13 at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, securing the country its third title in the Women's Rugby World Cup.

However, despite the festive atmosphere, Gabby was mourning the loss of her beloved pet - her dog Millo, who died at the age of 14.
An emotional day for the host
In an interview with HELLO! magazine, Gabby shared the emotions that overwhelmed her that day, as well as how she received support from her husband Kenny Logan, 53.
She confessed:
“When I found out that the older dog needed to be put to sleep, I said to Kenny: ‘I can't go through this alone’.“We won't be able to gather the whole family, so I said: ‘We need gin and tonic and a few tears.’”
Millo, the loyal boxer, spent over ten years with the Logan family and was adored by both Kenny and their 20-year-old twins, Reuben and Lois.
Gabby also shared a touching post on social media about Millo, writing:
“Our hearts are broken. Our big boy has gone. Millo, you were a true one of a kind.”
Remembering Millo
She reminisced about his special habits, including how he loved to have his chin scratched, watched over the children, and never allowed the family to miss 8 AM or 5 PM — the times for regular walks and dinner.
Gabby also wrote:
“You welcomed other puppies into our home, supported us in your last years, and gave us 14 incredible years of love.”“We will always be grateful that you chose us.”
Changes in the family's life
The Logan family lives in Buckinghamshire and is now adapting to a new quiet life as Lois goes to university and Reuben plays professional rugby for Sale Sharks in Manchester.

Recently, in an interview with The Daily Mail, Gabby noted:
“Since Lois and Reuben are also not home, we will really feel it this week. But there is also a lot of freedom that comes with this stage of life.”
Gabby Logan remains one of the most recognizable faces of BBC Sport and currently hosts the Match of the Day along with Kelly Cates and Mark Chapman after Gary Lineker's departure.
This situation highlights how important the support of loved ones is in difficult times. Losing a pet is always painful, and Gabby impresses with her ability to speak openly about her feelings. The Logan family continues to live, supporting each other and adapting to new realities without their loyal friend.
