Mother-entrepreneur created the skincare brand Faace: how she made millions.
According to The Sun: After giving birth to her first child in 2017, Jasmine Vicks-Stephens quickly realized she had no time for skincare—especially not for those 10-step routines advertised on social media. Juggling a full-time job while navigating life as a new mom, the 38-year-old woman understood she needed a product that focused on what was wrong with her skin and addressed that problem right away.
Jasmine created the Faace brand after realizing that the skincare industry was 'too complicated.' The brand's flagship masks, which serve as primers, moisturizers, and night treatments, are perfect for those who want to care for their skin but are too busy to engage in elaborate routines.
'I thought maybe I should create a regime that was really simple to understand and use,' she exclusively told Fabulous magazine for Bossing It. 'But with a lot of real ingredients and everything in it, so you don’t feel like you’re totally opting out of skincare. I wanted you to be able to apply it anywhere, anytime.'
Her husband Dan managed to create all the branding identity and necessary graphics to give Faace its identity, saving her a ton of money on outsourcing.
After launching Faace's first collection of three universal face masks, including Sweaty Faace, Period Faace, and Tired Faace, the company achieved a turnover of £278,000 in its first year of sales, proving that doing business with the 'consumer cap' in mind is a winning strategy. Faace is now raking in six-figure sums annually, thanks to Jasmine staying true to her brand's ethos of no-fuss skincare that is easy to understand and use.
Faace was created by Jasmine Vicks-Stephens out of an unconscious need for simple, effective skincare solutions after the arrival of her child. Her brand has become successful due to a well-executed strategy for simplified skincare that resonates with busy people looking to manage their skin effectively.Read also
