After a 0:3 loss to City, the team faced yet another disappointment despite the recent signing of new players.

Two of Beckham's former teammates - Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt - also believe that coach Amorim needs to change his approaches to avoid further failures.
“If he wants to get results and keep his job, he'll have to change something,” Butt stated in the podcast The Good, the Bad and the Football.
Scholes also noted that the team plays 'like robots' and lacks accountability on the field.
