Festive treats from Sainsbury's

According to The Sun: At Sainsbury’s festive presentation, I was immersed in the Christmas atmosphere, despite the fact that there are still months to go until the holiday.

I was one of the first to try the supermarket's new products, and among them were many delicious dishes that will surely delight customers.

I also enjoyed tasty desserts, party food, and traditional turkey with sides.

Although Christmas is still far away, supermarkets are already starting to announce their festive novelties. Sainsbury’s products are not yet on the shelves, but will appear in the coming months.

Some new items will be available from October 10, while major desserts and dishes for Christmas dinner will appear from December 20.

Most interesting dishes

I was immediately intrigued by the 'Taste the Difference Mini Wagyu Beef Cheeseburgers'. Each burger contains a piece of cheese, tomato sauce, and a mini wagyu patty. The meat was very juicy, and the combination with the sauces complemented the taste perfectly. These burgers will make a great party dish and will be available on the shelves from November 19, priced at £6 for a pack of eight.

Also suitable for the festive menu are the 'Taste the Difference Crispy Chicken Bao Buns', which will be available from the same date for the same price.

However, the 'Sainsbury’s Mince Pie Wrap', which will appear on November 17, could become a subject of controversy. I didn't like the combination of crispy pastry with soft tortilla. Price – £3.35.

Return of retro desserts

In the dessert category, Sainsbury’s has introduced several interesting retro treats. Among them is the 'Taste the Difference Sherry Trifle Cake', which is included in the 'Occasions by Sainsbury’s' range. It captivates with bright dragees and yellow icing, reminiscent of childhood. Price - £30, which is a significant increase compared to other desserts that cost around £12.

Also presented will be the 'Taste the Difference Raspberry and Vanilla Panna Cotta', which will appear in stores before Christmas, on December 20. Traditional desserts have received a modern touch, for example, the 'Taste the Difference Irish Coffee Tira-Merry-Su', which combines the taste of Irish coffee.

Turkey and all the trimmings

This year, popular flavors will again appear on festive tables. For instance, 'Taste the Difference Truffle Honey Pigs in Blankets' — a new product influenced by the trend for truffle honey. They will be available in stores from October 10 at a price of £3.50.

Sainsbury’s will also present the 'Taste the Difference Slow Cooked Buttermilk Turkey Crown with Maple Cured Bacon', which will cost £48 and will be on the shelves from November 26.

The festive meal will be completed by a limited edition liqueur 'Pistachio and Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur', which will be available from September 28 at a price of £10, significantly cheaper than Baileys. A banana pie liqueur, reminiscent of a popular dessert, will also appear.

These new products from Sainsbury's demonstrate the supermarket's commitment to satisfying consumers' taste preferences, offering both classic and modern variations of Christmas dishes. We look forward to seeing how shoppers will react to these tasty novelties during the festive season.
