Ryan Sterling finds himself in the bomb squad: former Newcastle player talks about his exile.
Isaac Hayden's support for Chelsea teammates
According to The Sun: Isaac Hayden expressed support for Chelsea players, Ryan Sterling and Axel Disasi, who found themselves in a difficult situation.
The former Newcastle midfielder, who now plays for KVP, faced uncertainty at the beginning of last season due to attempts to find a new club.

Sterling shared an image of himself training alone at night, while coach Enzo Maresca admitted that he hasn’t even spoken to him this season.
Hayden's situation
Hayden, 30, was not included in Eddie Howe's plans, but his situation was somewhat different.
“I feel sympathy, as players want to play – but everyone has different reasons for finding themselves in what is called the 'bomb section.'”
Hayden played 187 matches for Newcastle, won the Championship in 2017 and spent five seasons in the Premier League. However, in December 2021, he injured his knee and missed 5.5 months, after which Howe informed him that he did not plan to include him in the squad.
“When I returned, the team signed Bruno Guimaraes, and Joelinton was already playing with number 8 – so there was no place for me.”
Hayden noted that his situation was not as dire as that of some other players.
“Sometimes you hear about the 'bomb sections,' where you are isolated, and it’s terrible – but Eddie and Newcastle did not act that way.”
After spending the second half of last season on loan at Portsmouth, Hayden signed a contract with KVP in the summer and now hopes to participate in the World Cup with Jamaica next summer.
“One of the great fortunes that came during that period was that I was able to go to Jamaica for a few days to get my passport sorted and be able to play for them.”
Isaac Hayden continues to seek new opportunities in his career despite all the difficulties he faced.

Isaac Hayden has faced many trials in his career, but his support for his teammates demonstrates solidarity in the football world. In modern football, where some players find themselves in 'bomb sections', it’s important to remember humanity and mutual assistance among colleagues. Sterling and Disasi, on the other hand, may receive support from Hayden, which will be crucial for them in their struggle for a place in the team. Read also
