According to The Sun: The main suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, Christian Brueckner, claims to feel no remorse, according to a journalist who spoke with him in prison.

Ulrich Oppold reported that Brueckner, serving time for rape, states that he does not need rehabilitation.

Oppold became the only journalist to speak with Brueckner in prison. He describes his compatriot as 'ice-cold' and notes that he refused to comment on Madeleine's disappearance.

Oppold asked the question:

“Do you regret anything? Do you feel any remorse about what happened in the past?”

Brueckner responded:

“That is one of those questions I definitely do not want to answer.”

According to the journalist, he got the impression that 'sitting in front of him is a man who feels no guilt at all'.

When asked about accusations of psychopathy, Brueckner just smiled, saying:

“I am not dangerous.”

He is already serving a sentence for raping a 72-year-old woman in Praia da Luz in 2005 — two years before three-year-old Madeleine went missing in Portugal.

Recently, it became known that his quick release from prison in Sandne could be possible due to the payment of a fine of 1300 pounds to German police.
