Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington pregnant with third child after tragic miscarriage.
Report on Rebecca Adlington's pregnancy
According to The Sun: Rebecca Adlington, a well-known presenter and Olympic swimmer, has announced that she is expecting her third child, calling it an 'emotional journey'.
InstagramOn Tuesday, she shared the joyful news with fans, posting a photo of her baby's ultrasound and describing it as a 'little miracle', while remaining 'cautious'.
This comes after Rebecca experienced a challenging late miscarriage in October 2023, following which she gave birth to a daughter, Harper.
“We want to share that we are expecting a baby. It has been an emotional and physical rollercoaster over the last 19 months of trying, but this pregnancy has become a little miracle.”
Discussing her feelings, she also noted:
“We are mindful of those who are facing difficulties in their own struggles with infertility. We are living each day and are incredibly thankful to the NHS team for their support.”
Rebecca is raising two children: son Albie (two years) with husband Andy Parsons and daughter Summer (eight years) from a previous marriage.
Previous losses
Rebecca shared her feelings after losing daughter Harper during a miscarriage in 2023, expressing gratitude to the medical staff for their support.
“Unfortunately, we found that there was no heartbeat during our 20-week scan. I gave birth to our daughter, Harper, on Friday at 7 PM. We will always love and remember her.”id='6370576747112' data-video-id='6370576747112' data-account='5067014667001' data-player='default' data-usage='cms:WordPress:6.5.6:2.8.6:javascript' data-embed='default' class='video-js' data-application-id='' controls style='width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; right: 0; left: 0;'>
