Isaac's Last Haircut in Newcastle: Barber-Fanatic Talks About the Move to Liverpool.
Barber Prepared Isaac for the Transfer
According to The Sun: ADEKUNLE AGBABIAKA is practically the only Newcastle fan who still has sympathy for Alexander Isak. He spent nearly an hour making sure the Swedish striker looked 'perfect' before his transfer to Liverpool.

Isak, 25, completed his record transfer for Britain of £130 million from St James' Park to Anfield on the transfer deadline day and could debut against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Transfer Talk Was Prohibited
However, on Sunday, a day before the official confirmation of the deal, Agbabika was at home in Newcastle with 'very nice guy' Isak for a haircut.
However, the barber refrained from asking: 'Where are you going?' as transfer conversations were strictly prohibited.
Agbabika, 40, shared with SunSport:
“No way! I know my limits. I don't even ask those questions because I don't get answers. I just wait like everyone else.”
“But as a Newcastle fan, I told him: 'Bro, I don't know what's going on, but I hope you stay so we can be in the Champions League every year.'”
“He just laughed. I knew it would happen, it was just a matter of time.”
“I will maintain a personal connection with him and will probably get a call to go to Liverpool so we can keep up this friendship.”
“I don't mind it as a friend, but in football matters, he's no longer on my team.”
Agbabika knew that the emergency haircut on August 31 was significant when Isak reached out to him.
He added: “Usually, he just texts me, so when he called, I realized it was very important.”
“He just said, 'I need your help.'
“I usually arrive at his house ten or fifteen minutes late, but that day I came on time because I knew it could be a big day for him.”
“It was a big day for me too, knowing that the haircut would go viral.”
“I gave him a regular haircut. Normally it takes me half an hour, but this time I spent 50 minutes. I paid attention to make sure everything was perfect.”
These guys really care about me. Sometimes you see part of those big bills [fifty pounds].
Fan and barber Agbabika
Agbabika, or just Kai to his clients and friends, began his barbering career in 2010 and moved from London to Tyneside in 2014, where he already had clients like Shola Ameobi and Obafemi Martins.
However, thanks to word of mouth based in Newcastle, his clients included other footballers, and in 2015 he opened his own barbershop Made In Kays.
Agbabika met Isak again in Newcastle, cleaning him up in secret mode at a hotel before announcing his arrival from Real Sociedad in 2022 after an urgent request from Joe Willock to help his new teammate.

Like many footballers – including Adama Traore, Kelechi Iheanacho, Callum Wilson, Jamaal Lascelles, and even Philippe Coutinho – the striker quickly impressed and stayed with Kai for weekly haircuts.
His fan-barber even made a personalized cape 'Isak 14', which suited the new star client.
When asked how much he charges the walking striker for an important haircut, Agbabika didn't mention an exact amount but noted that Isak and other footballers are very generous.
The cheerful barber, who may go to the 2026 World Cup to support his clients in style, explained: “Since we have a good relationship, the standard haircut cost is £60. But these guys really care about me.”
“Sometimes you see part of those big bills [fifty pounds]. They are just really good people.”
“I find it very difficult to go to their houses and name a price, so after the cut, they often just say: 'Here you go,' and it’s usually more than I normally ask.”
“On my birthday, Lascelles and Willock took me out to dinner and threw a little party, spending around £3000 just on me.”
“I am always there for them when they need a haircut, making sure they look sharp for games – but that might be the reason I haven't been on vacation for five years.”
