The import of cars to Ukraine increased by 17%: the top 5 supplying countries have been named.
According to inkorr.com: From January to July 2025, over 224 thousand passenger cars were imported into Ukraine for a total of 3.2 billion US dollars. This information was released by Ukravtoprom, citing data from the State Statistics Service.
Increase in Imports
According to the data obtained, the volume of imported passenger cars, both new and used, increased by 17% compared to the same period in 2024. The customs value of imported cars also increased by 22% and amounted to approximately 3.2 billion dollars.
The leader in supply volumes is Germany, from which over 50 thousand passenger cars were imported.
Main Suppliers
The top five largest suppliers include the USA (over 39 thousand cars), China (nearly 23 thousand), Japan (more than 20 thousand), and South Korea (over 14 thousand).
Market State and Purchasing Power
The growth of car imports indicates an improvement in the purchasing power of Ukrainians and the stabilization of the automotive market, even under difficult conditions. However, the increase in the customs value of cars by 22% despite a 17% rise in import volumes shows that the average price of imported cars has also risen.
Thus, Ukraine demonstrates a 17% increase in the import of passenger cars, while Germany, the USA, China, Japan, and South Korea remain the leaders in supplies. This may indicate an improvement in the economic situation in the country and an increase in demand for automotive transport among the population.
