January 20 will mark the beginning of Donald Trump's presidency. According to the US Constitution, the powers of each president end at 12:00 PM on January 20 of the year following the election. For Trump, this means his swearing-in as head of state.

This day is scheduled to include many ceremonies and official events. Note that due to weather conditions, the main events have been moved from the street to the Capitol building. At 10:00 AM, a preparatory program will begin, including protocol events and a musical program.
