Americans are excited about the UFC announcement at the White House

According to The Sun: Americans are eagerly awaiting details of the grand UFC tournament that will take place at the White House, dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the USA.

This 'spectacle for history' will be broadcast worldwide in June 2026. UFC head Dana White has already presented stunning sketches showing what the event may look like.

Sketches presented by artificial intelligence impress with the luxurious appearance of the prestigious South Lawn.

Thousands of fans will gather under a huge arena structure, with the central stage being the UFC octagon.

Lights, fireworks, and light shows will illuminate the sky in the striking sketches that also appeared on the White House's official social media.

Trump approved plans to hold the fight on the South Lawn next year in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Conor McGregor stated he is ready to return to the octagon after five years away and compete against Michael Chandler.

This pair will join numerous stars from various weight categories who will fight before a massive audience that the White House has dubbed 'the greatest fight of all time.'

Chandler, 39, recently participated in fights but suffered defeat to Paddy Pimblett in April.

The fighters were scheduled to meet at UFC 303 in June last year, but the fight was canceled two weeks before the event due to McGregor's injury.

They will warm up 'inside' the Oval Office and weigh in on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Later, they will walk through the corridors of power to the octagon on the South Lawn.

Before the main fights, celebration days for fans are planned at the National Mall.

This festival includes meet-and-greets with fighters and various entertainment activities, including boxing bag competitions.

In honor of the event, a grand laser and fireworks show is scheduled.

Thousands of spectators are expected to visit nearby areas such as Ellipse Park, where large screens will be set up.

Trump's press secretary, Stephen Chung, noted:

“This will be one of the largest and most historic sporting events in history.”

“Organizing this event at the White House demonstrates President Trump's vision to commemorate America's 250th anniversary.”

Regarding Conor McGregor's potential participation,

“Dana White said: “We will create the greatest fight of all time.”

“Conor and I are in constant communication; he really wants this fight. When you reach a level like Conor, you need to find motivation, and the White House card has certainly become that for him.”
