Damage to the research institute in Israel due to missile strikes
During the missile attack by Iran on the territory of Israel, the Weizmann Institute of Science was damaged. In particular, laboratories in one of the buildings caught fire. This information was reported by The New York Times.

An Italian-born graduate student residing in the institute's dormitory, Alan Monciani, shared his impressions of the destruction he saw after the attack. He noted that part of the research center was destroyed either by enemy fire or by flames engulfing the building.
Monciani also noted that the shock waves from the explosion shattered windows in neighboring buildings and created significant difficulties for the residents and employees of the institute.
