The Irish government has decided to allocate an additional 100 million euros in aid to Ukraine. This funding will be directed towards non-lethal military equipment and other support.

Simon Harris, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland, emphasized that European partners are working incredibly hard to demonstrate solidarity and provide practical support to Ukraine. However, he also noted that there is a need for joint efforts between the European Union and the United States on this issue.

Prime Minister Micheál Martin believes that the cessation of military aid to Ukraine by U.S. President Donald Trump is a serious development. He called for continued interaction among all parties.

Furthermore, the Irish government has approved a bill that removes restrictions on the deployment of Irish peacekeeping troops abroad without obtaining United Nations permission.
