ITV extends horse racing broadcasts until 2030: which tournaments will remain.
ITV continues free broadcast of horse racing
According to The Sun: ITV announced the continuation of free live horse racing broadcasts on its network for another five years.
The network previously had rights to these broadcasts until the end of next year.

The network will show 117 days of live broadcasts on ITV1, ITV4, STV, and STV Player. A morning racing program — The Opening Show — will also be broadcasted.
Among other events, the network will continue to show significant events such as Randox Grand National, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival, and Betfred Derby.
Niall Sloane, director of sports at ITV, remarked:
“This is an important deal for ITV Sport and horse racing in the UK, ensuring access to the best events for free until 2030.”
He also thanked partners for their cooperation:
“We are proud to provide so many live broadcasts of this incredible sport and look forward to continuing our collaboration in the coming years.”
Jim Mullen, CEO of The Jockey Club, added:
“The ITV Racing team continues to showcase our sport to fans and new audiences with the same passion and determination as when the contract began in 2017.”
He also emphasized the importance of this deal for advertising racing:
“Racing will benefit greatly from this continuation and from 117 days of free coverage each year.”
Furthermore, Felicity Barnard, CEO of Ascot Racecourse, noted:
“This is great news that racing has agreed to continue with ITV.”
She also added:
“Their dedication, editorial expertise, and production standards are unparalleled, and they are excellent partners to work with.”
In conclusion, she expressed hopes for further innovations in broadcasting:

Horse racing is expected to have its best year on ITVX so far, generating over 15 million streams.
