Ivzhenko won two awards at the European Weightlifting Championship.
Ukrainian weightlifters successfully started their performance at the European Championship, which is being held in Chisinau, Moldova. Olga Ivzhenko won gold, silver, and bronze in different weight categories.
Olga Ivzhenko in the weight category up to 55 kg won gold in the snatch (93 kg), took 5th place in the clean and jerk (108 kg), and earned bronze in the total of the two lifts (201 kg).
It is known that the championship will last until April 21.
The successes of Ukrainian footballer Artem Dobvyk, who played in the national team's exhibition and competes in Italy's Serie A with 'Roma', are also commendable. He was recognized as the best player of the month in March for his performances, in which he scored 3 goals in 4 matches.
Artem Dobvyk noted that this award from FIFA is a great achievement for him, as it is his first time being among the contenders for this award.
It is worth mentioning that the famous Ukrainian wrestler and politician Jean Belenyuk made an interesting comment on this topic. He wrote on his Twitter that in three months he will make Dobvyk the champion of Italy in Greco-Roman wrestling.
This season, Artem Dobvyk has participated in 40 matches, where he scored 16 goals and made 4 assists.
