The fight was supposed to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, but the situation became uncertain after Most Valuable Promotions, founded by Paul and his business partner Nikisa Bidarian, withdrew the approval applications for the event in the state of Georgia.

The chairman of the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission, Rick Thompson, confirmed this information and said in a conversation with USA Today: "I think the public should know that it is wrong to promote something that should not be promoted."

Despite the withdrawal of the permits, tickets for the fight are still available, and the event continues to be listed on the official State Farm Arena website.

Meanwhile, Robert A. Sinners, communications director of the Office of the Secretary of State, stated:

"[The fight] will not take place here."

Jake Paul and Nikisa Bidarian have not commented on the situation so far, but Bidarian hinted at an announcement regarding the duel.

He wrote on X on Monday morning: "Big announcement for the Jake Paul vs Tank Davis event this Wednesday."

Jake Paul previously fought in June against former WBC middleweight champion Julio César Chávez Jr., where he won.

"The Problem Child" is preparing for the fight against Davis and says:

"Gervonta is a nasty little elf who has disrespected my name for too long."

"Yes, his last name is 'Tank', but I am the FPV drone, and now I will neutralize him."

"Yes, he is one of the best boxers in the world, but my rule is – everyone, anytime, anywhere, despite all circumstances."

"I believe in my chances. First, I will defeat David, then kill Goliath."

The prospect of the duel between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis has sparked renewed interest despite the uncertainty created by the withdrawal of permits. Fans are eagerly awaiting news about the possibility of this fight happening, as both boxers possess a vast arsenal of skills and personalities. It is worth noting that such events always attract not only sports enthusiasts but also the general public.
