According to The Sun: Jamie Chadwick urges more focus on engaging young girls in motorsport rather than discussing who will be the next woman in Formula 1.
The 27-year-old Chadwick is the most decorated woman in British motorsport and is currently viewed as a potential next participant in Formula 1.

The last woman to participate in a Formula 1 race was Italian Lella Lombardi in 1976.
Chadwick became the first woman to win a British F3 race in 2018 at Brands Hatch, finishing the season in eighth place overall.
In June 2024, she became the first woman to podium in Indy NXT since 2010 and has also won the W-Series championship three times.
Recently, she returned to Silverstone for the first time in three years to participate in the fifth round of the European Le Mans Series. Together with her team, she secured her third victory in LMP2, returning to the title chase with one round left to finish.
Before the race, she organized a visit for 30 students from a local school to attend the track and participate in a STEM workshop. The girls had the opportunity to watch Chadwick during the first practice of the weekend.
The event was supported by Chadwick's sponsor, Mobil1, and the girls tried their hand at karting at Silverstone, which is set to start operations later this year.
Chadwick noted: “There is a strong desire to have a woman in Formula 1, and we all want to see that. But if we can increase the overall number of women in the sport, then that will be a good start.”
The newly launched Jamie Chadwick series showed an impressive 1700% increase in girls engaging in karting.
This season, Chadwick is also trying her hand as a commentator, successfully working with Nico Rosberg on air for Sky during the Monza Grand Prix.
When asked who she thinks will win the title in Formula 1 this year, Chadwick replied: “Oscar Piastri is incredibly stable, he is not afraid of anything.”
She also added: “Lando will have to work hard as he has a points deficit, but anything can happen.”
Jamie Chadwick is actively working to promote women in motorsport, highlighting the importance of engaging the younger generation in this field. Her efforts not only contribute to the development of the sport but also inspire young girls to believe in their capabilities.
