Three weeks later, Redknapp decided to apologize during the 'Friday Night Football' program on Sky.
Redknapp said: “I stated that Lord Sugar left the club ‘in disarray’.
“I want to emphasize that he stabilized the club and significantly invested during his chairmanship.
“When he became the chairman of the club in 1991, 'Tottenham' was on the brink of bankruptcy, and by the time he left, the financial situation had significantly improved.
“With all the money he put into the team and infrastructure, I apologize to Lord Sugar and his family for any misunderstandings and harm and am willing to make amends.”
