EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas Comments on Potential Zelenskyy-Putin Meeting

According to TSN.ua: Kaja Kallas, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, has voiced skepticism about the feasibility of a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin. She pointed to the immense pressure Russia continues to exert on Ukraine, which she believes severely complicates the outlook for any meaningful negotiations.

Kallas emphasized that Ukraine is not prepared to compromise its fundamental principles, and doing so would not lead to a lasting peace.

"I do not share the optimism about this," she stated, commenting on the potential summit.

"I want the war in Ukraine to end," she added.
