Kamaliya Hospitalized After Health Scare
According to Glamurchik — Шоу-біз: Ukrainian singer Kamaliya has opened up about a recent hospitalization triggered by a flare-up of a chronic condition. The episode followed a series of missile strikes on her family’s business center and the devastating news of her cousin’s death on the front lines. For years, Kamaliya has battled a recurring intestinal issue that worsens twice annually, especially under extreme stress.
Business Center Hit by Repeated Missile Attacks
According to reports, Kamaliya’s business center was struck by missiles three times:
- The first attack occurred on May 14 at 3:30 a.m.
- During the second attack, at 7:00 a.m., two missiles were launched.
- The most recent strike on the business center happened two weeks ago.
These events, combined with the loss of her relative, plunged the singer into severe distress.
Kamaliya learned of her cousin’s death in combat on a Tuesday. After attending the funeral, she collapsed while traveling back to Kyiv. Medical staff insisted on hospitalization due to the risk of surgery. The singer recalled:
“The surgeon looked at me with these eyes, like, ‘Are you serious?’”Despite the doctors’ warnings, Kamaliya refused to cancel her scheduled performance in Kremenchuk, stating:
“I said, ‘No, I have a concert in Kremenchuk tomorrow—no hospital stay for me.’”
This situation highlights not only the personal struggles faced by the artist but also the widespread stress affecting many Ukrainians during wartime. The ongoing conflict has placed immense psychological and physical strain on countless people, often worsening pre-existing health conditions. Kamaliya’s story underscores how war reshapes daily life in Ukraine and reinforces the critical need for mental health support amid crisis.
