The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Julia Swiridenko, has announced that the candidate for the position of Director of the Bureau for Economic Security, Oleksandr Tsivinsky, will pass the polygraph. According to her, this will help avoid any manipulations and accelerate the process.

Candidate for the position of BUB Director

'This morning we spoke with Oleksandr Tsivinsky — the candidate for the position of Director of the Bureau for Economic Security. Thank you for the constructive approach', remarked Swiridenko.

According to the Prime Minister, the Competition Commission has made a decision, and the Cabinet of Ministers has received the results of additional reviews.

Swiridenko emphasized that all stakeholders wish for the Bureau for Economic Security to be an effective institution and enjoy trust.

'We agreed with Oleksandr on how to resolve all issues civilly, and we agreed to conduct the polygraph. This guarantees the absence of manipulations and helps us move forward', she explained.

The Prime Minister hopes that a decision will be made next week that will contribute to the renewal of the Bureau for Economic Security and improve cooperation between the state and the economy.

The candidate confirmed that the conversation with Swiridenko was productive and constructive.

The parties agreed to act openly and clearly to dispel any doubts and continue progress.

Let us remind you that Tsivinsky won the competition for the position of head of the Bureau for Economic Security on June 24. It was previously reported that the decision on the appointment of the BUB Director was postponed until August.
