Julia Anatolyevna Swiridenko - Minister of Economic Development of Ukraine, former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, former First Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. Acting Governor of Chernihiv Oblast (2018).
Place of Birth. Education. Born on December 25, 1985, in Chernihiv. In 2008, she graduated with honors from the Kyiv University of Economics and Trade, majoring in 'Management of Competition Policy', receiving a Master's degree in Management of Competition Policy. In the same year, she began her doctoral studies at the National Kyiv University of Economics and Trade in the field of 'Economics and Management of the National Economy'.
Career. She started her career in 2008 as an economist for financial affairs at the Ukrainian-Andorran joint venture AO 'AMP' (Kyiv). She then worked as an expert at the Chernihiv Interregional Technical Inventory Bureau and as Deputy Director of LLC 'Eco-Vtor' (Kyiv).

In 2011, she was appointed Chairperson of the permanent representation of Chernihiv in Usi (China).
Since May 2015, she has been an advisor to the Governor of Chernihiv Oblast, Valery Kulich.
From August 2015, she was the head of the department of economic development of the Chernihiv Oblast Regional Administration.
Since September 2017, she has been performing the duties of the First Deputy Governor of the Chernihiv Oblast Regional Administration, and on March 14, 2018, she was appointed First Deputy Governor of the Chernihiv Oblast Regional Administration.
From July 30 to November 28, 2018, she served as Acting Governor of Chernihiv Oblast.
From March to September 2019, she was the director of LLC 'Sidko Ukraine', which specializes in the production of feed for wild birds and processes organic products.
In September 2019, she was appointed Deputy Minister, and from July 2020 she was the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
On December 24, 2019, she was elected chairwoman of the board of the Ukrainian State Mandatory Unemployment Insurance Fund. Member of the delegation to participate in the Trilateral Contact Group, representative in the working group on socioeconomic issues.
On December 21, 2020, the government voted for the dismissal of Julia Swiridenko from the position of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development at her own request.
From December 22, 2020, to November 2021, she was Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, replacing Julia Kovaliv in this position.
On February 26, 2021, she was removed from the delegation of Ukraine for participation in the Trilateral Contact Group by order of the President of Ukraine.
On May 31, 2021, Julia Swiridenko was elected as the state representative in the supervisory board of NJSC 'Naftogaz Ukraine'.
On November 4, 2021, the parliament appointed Julia Swiridenko as Minister of Economy instead of Alexey Lubtsenko.
