Annually, Ukraine extracts over 3 million tons of kaolin, over 70% of which goes for export. The main markets are EU countries, Turkey, and China. The lion's share of exports comes from the deposits in the Vinnytsia region.

After 2022, investor interest in the industry has increased. The state has activated licensing processes, and the private sector has begun modernizing equipment. New quarries and reconstruction of processing plants are planned for 2024-2025, particularly in the villages of Kukavka and Stina (Mohyliv-Podilskyi district).

This not only creates jobs but also raises export levels. It is expected that by 2026, kaolin processing volumes in Ukraine will increase by 30%, significantly affecting the region's GDP.

Moreover, kaolin does not require expensive processing, making its extraction and transportation economically feasible even for medium-sized businesses. This makes the industry accessible to domestic investors.
