Under the 'GROW' project, grants can reach a maximum of 36,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH), equivalent to approximately 813 US dollars. The program is open to individuals who belong to the following vulnerable categories:
- Internally displaced persons (IDPs),
- Low-income families,
- Single parents,
- Families with three or more children,
- Citizens aged 50 and above,
- Persons with disabilities,
- Veterans and their families.
A key eligibility requirement is that the per capita income for a low-income family must not exceed 8,422 UAH.
Agricultural Grants Available
The project also includes specific grants for agriculture, offering up to $1,240 for crop farming and up to $1,470 for animal husbandry. This support is designed for those choosing the agricultural sector as a path to improve their financial stability.
The 'GROW' project is part of a broader assistance program implemented by Caritas for displaced persons and other vulnerable population groups. Such initiatives are crucial in Ukraine today, helping to foster not only professional skills but also broader social development amidst ongoing challenges.
The launch of the 'GROW' project by Caritas Kyiv represents a significant step in supporting vulnerable groups facing economic hardship.
Providing these financial grants can substantially improve recipients' opportunities for self-sufficiency and professional growth. In the context of war and socio-economic instability, this type of support can be decisive for many people striving to rebuild their lives and enhance their family's well-being.
