In the last day, Russian invaders carried out 70 airstrikes and dropped 122 KAB on Ukrainian territory. They also used 718 kamikaze drones and conducted more than 3200 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas.

Latest news of the war in Ukraine

During the past day, there were 122 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly resist the enemy, who is trying to advance deeper into our territory. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this.

News from the front

In the Pokrovske direction, 168 occupants were eliminated.

Kharkiv direction

Russian terrorists stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the area of Vovchansk and Starytsia four times. The AFU eliminated and wounded 72 invaders and destroyed an armored combat vehicle, two artillery systems, 32 UAVs, seven vehicles, and one special equipment. Two enemy artillery systems and four vehicles were also damaged.

Kupiansk direction

The enemy conducted 12 attacks on AFU positions. Our defenders managed to repel nine attacks near Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, and Lozova. Three combat clashes continue.

Lyman direction

Russian forces staged 14 attacks on Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Terny, and Torske. Fighting continues near Hrekivka and in the area of Terny.

Kramatorsk direction

Ukrainian troops repelled an attempt by the invaders to advance to the settlement of Bondarne.

Pokrovske direction

The enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, and Selydove 40 times. Defense forces repelled 34 assault actions, and six combat clashes continue. The occupiers suffered significant losses: 168 servicemen killed and 197 wounded. A tank, four armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, six automobiles, and four motorcycles were destroyed. Ukrainian defenders also inflicted significant damage on four more artillery systems, three vehicles, and four armored combat vehicles of the enemy.

Kurakhove direction

There were 35 enemy attacks recorded near Hirnyk, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Katerynivka, and Antonivka. Our defenders stopped 21 of these attacks. Fighting continues in 14 locations.

Vremivka direction

The enemy ten times stormed the forefront of our defenses in the direction of Bohoyavlenka and Velyka Novosilka. One attack continues.

Orikhiv direction

The occupiers attempted to advance on Ukrainian troops' positions in the area of Robotyne, but were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovske direction

The Ukrainian defense forces stopped four attempts of the invaders to attack our positions.

In the rest of the directions, the situation remains unchanged.

The General Staff marks the combat work of the warriors of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi and the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade named after Koshovyi Otaman Petro Kalnyshevskyi. They received commendation for their effective work on the battlefield.
