Ronaldo's Trainer Reveals the Secret to the Portuguese's Longevity: What He Suggested.
Discussion on Cristiano Ronaldo's Mentality
According to The Sun: Malik Scott believes that communication with Cristiano Ronaldo could enhance the mentality of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Ronaldo is one of the hardest-working footballers of his generation. This partly explains his success in Saudi Arabia at the age of 40, as he has no intention of retiring.
Scott, who married CBS Sports host Kate Scott last September, believes he could help Ronaldo in his personal growth if he became part of his team. At 44 years old, he has achieved success in boxing and trained former world champion Deontay Wilder.
“I would gladly sit down with Cristiano Ronaldo and talk about competition, adding something to his mental qualities,” he said.
Scott noted that discussing topics that unite them would help understand the pressures professional athletes face. He added:
“These guys know what they feel when they step out to compete in front of hundreds of thousands of people. That is the pressure that comes with it.”
Boxing Prospects for Sports Commentators
When asked which football experts could showcase themselves in the boxing ring, Scott mentioned his colleagues:
“Micah Richards definitely has the potential for something like Misfits. The main question is who will be his opponent.”
“Micah is strong and has good striking mechanics. When I trained him, it felt like I was working with a very coordinated person.”
Scott emphasized that boxing requires the ability to stay calm under pressure:

The ongoing discussions surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's mentality and Micah Richards' potential boxing career add vivid colors to the sports world. Scott, as an experienced coach, considers not only the physical but also the psychological aspects of competition, which are crucial for successful athletes. These thoughts highlight how sports, regardless of the discipline, require constant development and support. Read also
