Medvedev's threat to Britain over support for Ukraine

According to The Sun: One of Putin's close associates, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, made threatening statements towards Great Britain. He warned that the Kremlin could seize 'the valuables of the British crown' if the country continues to finance Ukraine with frozen Russian assets.

In his insane tirade on social media, Medvedev accused 'British thieves' of transferring Russian money to 'neo-Nazis.'

This happened after Great Britain announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth 1 billion pounds in its fight against Moscow.

According to Defense Minister John Healy, the funds for this aid were obtained from frozen Russian assets.

In his Telegram post, Medvedev, who is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, threatened retaliation from Moscow.

He even called Foreign Secretary David Lammy an 'English idiot.'

Putin's close ally accused Great Britain of transferring Russian money to 'neo-Nazis,' referring to false accusations from the Kremlin that Ukraine is run by Nazis.

“Consequences? Great Britain has committed a crime,” he wrote.

“But since this money cannot be returned due to legal procedures for obvious reasons, our country has only one way to return the valuables.

“To return what was seized in kind.”

He also threatened to seize additional Ukrainian land 'and movable property located on it.'

Threat of confiscation of British valuables

Medvedev, who has become one of the most active propagandists of Russia's war in Ukraine, added that the Kremlin will respond to any 'illegal confiscation' of frozen assets by confiscating 'the valuables of the British crown.'

“They are still enough in various places, including in Russia,” he noted.

Great Britain and other Western countries have imposed severe sanctions against Russia following the invasion of Ukraine.

Medvedev's comments came against the backdrop of negotiations among representatives of the pro-Ukrainian 'Coalition of the Willing,' which took place yesterday regarding future security guarantees for Ukraine.

About 30 leaders gathered in Paris or joined via video link to discuss a plan in case a peace agreement is reached.

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also participated in the summit remotely.

Downing Street's spokesperson noted: “The Prime Minister emphasized that the group has an unbreakable promise to Ukraine with the support of President Trump.

“And it was clear that they now need to put even more pressure on Putin to ensure a ceasefire.”

Additional threats from the Kremlin

Furthermore, Medvedev is not the only one who has threatened Great Britain. Another Kremlin propagandist called for the country's destruction using a new high-speed torpedo.

Vladimir Solovyov on Russian state television claimed the possibility of using a nuclear torpedo Poseidon to create a wave that would drown all of Britain.

“I am not calling for anything, I am just saying – the Brits say that their task is to deliver us a strategic defeat.

“Well, let them say it from the water,” he added.
