According to inkorr.com: In the first friendly match as part of the preparation for the new season, last year's women's Super League teams - 'Kyiv-Basket' and 'Budivelnyk' - faced off. The players of 'Budivelnyk' won with a score of 61:57 at the 'Veneto' sports complex.
Today, September 23, the second friendly match is scheduled between the teams of Vitalii Cherniy and Volodymyr Holopov before the start of the new season of the women’s Super League, which kicks off on October 10. In the first round, 'Kyiv-Basket' will play against 'Budivelnyk', while 'Frankivsk-Prikarpattia' will compete with 'Vinnytsia-MedUniversity'.
As reported by 'Glavkom', the men's Ukraine basketball team reached the main round of the World Cup 2027 qualifying by winning the pre-qualification group after defeating Slovakia.
