More than 30 countries are developing security guarantees for Ukraine: what does this mean.
According to FREEДOM: The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, assured that Russia will not have the opportunity to control the actions of Europe and the USA regarding security guarantees for Ukraine. He believes that Moscow is trying to impose conditions that are impossible to accept, so the only guarantee of protection for our country remains the strengthening of the army and military potential.
'This is a typical Russian negotiating tactic. First, you say one thing, and then you start to backtrack on your words. This happens constantly,' Stubb emphasized.
Stubb noted that Russia understands only the language of strength and emphasized the necessity of support from Poland and the USA to ensure security. The process of developing security guarantees continues, and discussions of possible options in the field of defense are planned.
Security guarantees for Ukraine: negotiations with the USA and possible participants
The leaders of the 'coalition of willing' group agreed to negotiate with the USA about reliable security guarantees for Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Canada also did not rule out support from Canadian military as an element of ensuring stability.
'Ukraine needs a strong army and real security guarantees from many countries to achieve stability in the region,' emphasized the head of the German Foreign Ministry, Johann Wadephul.
The issue of security guarantees is becoming increasingly important in light of rising tensions in the region. Ukraine continues to seek opportunities to strengthen its defense capabilities and ensure peace and security.
