KP 'Kyiv Metro' filed a claim for over one and a half million hryvnias against JSC 'Kyivmetrobud'. But the court decided not to support this claim, as shown by the decision of the Economic Court of Kyiv dated July 1.
Details of the Case
In 2018, KP 'Kyiv Metro' ordered the construction of a section of the Syretsko-Pecherska line from the company 'Kyivmetrobud'. The contractor received 2.58 billion hryvnias, of which 1.7 billion was deposited in 'Ukrgasbank'. However, later the company received 139 million in illegal income.
Court's Decision
This year, 139 million hryvnias have already been recovered from JSC 'Kyivmetrobud'. According to the law, double recovery of funds is not allowed, so the claim from KP 'Kyiv Metro' was rejected.
After the company 'Kyivmetrobud' received illegal income, the court decided to reject the claim of 'Kyiv Metro' for recovering over one and a half million hryvnias.Read also
