Kyivstar Hikes Plan Price by 70 UAH: What Subscribers Will Pay Starting March 31.
Price Increase for the LOVE UA Force 2024 Plan
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine's mobile operator Kyivstar has announced a price hike for its LOVE UA Force 2024 tariff, effective March 31, 2024. The plan's cost will rise to 400 UAH per four-week period, up from the previous 330 UAH. The company attributes the increase to higher electricity costs for businesses and increased expenses for equipment maintenance. As Kyivstar explains,
“Due to rising business electricity costs and technical support for equipment, starting March 31, your tariff will cost 400 UAH per 4 weeks instead of 330 UAH per 4 weeks.”This change reflects broader pressures on telecom operators in Ukraine, who are adjusting pricing amid ongoing economic challenges.
Plan Details
The LOVE UA Force 2024 plan is a legacy tariff, meaning it is no longer available to new subscribers. It includes the following features:
- unlimited calls within the Kyivstar network
- 300 minutes for calls to other mobile networks, landlines, and international numbers
- 50 GB of mobile data (of which 10.7 GB can be used abroad under the 'Roaming Like at Home' condition)
The operator also offers an alternative plan called 'ALL TOGETHER Light Contract,' priced at 370 UAH per month. This plan provides:
- 300 SMS messages
- unlimited calls within the Kyivstar network
- 300 minutes to other numbers
- 40 GB of mobile data (of which 15 GB are available in roaming under the 'Roaming Like at Home' condition)
The rising cost of the LOVE UA Force 2024 plan mirrors industry-wide trends, as telecom providers respond to increasing operational expenses, particularly for energy and infrastructure upkeep. Amid economic volatility and price inflation, consumers are encouraged to review available tariff options to find the best fit for their needs. The 'ALL TOGETHER Light Contract' plan may appeal to those seeking a balance between cost and services.
