Kyivstar to Discontinue a Popular Plan, Raising Monthly Costs to 350 UAH.
Discontinuation of the 'SuperGig 2024' Plan
According to Novyny.live: Kyivstar has announced the shutdown of its 'SuperGig 2024' tariff, effective April 1, 2026. Subscribers currently on this plan will be automatically migrated to the new 'SuperGig' tariff, which carries a monthly fee of 350 UAH. This change reflects the company's ongoing adjustments to its service offerings.
The 'SuperGig 2024' plan provided unlimited internet traffic and 9.7 GB of roaming data. In contrast, the new 'SuperGig' plan includes 11.4 GB of data within countries covered by the 'Roaming Like at Home' program. This detail is particularly relevant for users who frequently travel outside Ukraine, as it alters their data allowances abroad.
Changes for Business Customers
Corporate subscribers will also face changes. The cost of the 'Viber Message Broadcast' service will increase to 9,600 UAH starting April 1, 2026. Such adjustments may raise concerns among businesses that rely heavily on this service for client communication.
Additionally, the legacy tariff plan 'LOVE UA Power 2024' will see its price rise to 400 UAH per month from March 31, 2026. This move underscores a broader trend of increasing telecom tariffs across Ukraine.
The discontinuation of the 'SuperGig 2024' plan and the price hikes for other tariffs signal shifting conditions in Ukraine's mobile market. Subscribers should prepare to adapt to these new rates, which could impact their expenses, especially for corporate clients who actively use various business communication services. These changes may also indicate Kyivstar's broader strategy to monetize its services in a competitive environment.
