According to the document, the United States will play a key role in verifying peace. The US will lead the monitoring and control of the ceasefire regime.

'Joint military planning for security in the air, at sea, and on land, as well as for the restoration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, needs to be carried out at Ukraine's request after a reliable cessation of hostilities,' the document states.

Furthermore, the project envisages a clear distribution of functions among allies. The leadership role in implementing security measures is assigned to Europe with the support of other coalition participants, including the US.

The US will also lead the monitoring and verification process of compliance with the ceasefire regime, for which a system of permanent oversight and a special commission to investigate violations will be created.

The American side is committed to supporting the armed forces within the specified security measures in case of attacks.

'In the event of a future armed attack by Russia on Ukraine, support is envisaged for restoring peace and security. Support may include military capabilities, intelligence, logistics, diplomatic steps, and additional sanctions,' the document states.

It is also indicated that the US will take on the responsibility to support forces within security measures in case of armed attack.

What is known about the meeting in Paris

The meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing' has started in France, where the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will participate.

More than 30 representatives from various countries around the world will join the event. The US will be represented by emissaries of American leader Donald Trump — Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

It is also reported that along with Zelensky, the new head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov, has arrived in Paris for the summit.

Earlier, it became known that European allies commit to providing 'politically and legally binding' guarantees of Ukraine's protection against potential future attacks from the Russian Federation.

This meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing' is of significant importance for strengthening international support for Ukraine in the field of security. Interaction between allies and a clear distribution of roles, as specified in the communiqué, can positively impact stability in the region.
