The Coalition of the Willing Did Not Send Troops to Ukraine: Why EU Promises Remain Words

According to inkorr.com: European Promises to Ukraine: More General Words, Less Real Action

According to a report by The Telegraph, a recent meeting of the 'Coalition of the Willing' was characterized by numerous statements but lacked specific decisions that could realistically change the course of the conflict.

French President Emmanuel Macron proposed creating 'deterrent forces in Ukraine', however, this idea appears unviable as Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed that any presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory is unacceptable for the Kremlin.

Instead, Ukraine received only a 'gesture of solidarity'. Meetings between President Zelensky and European leaders ended with empty promises of support, without real actions.

Outrage in Ukraine is growing, as, despite Western support helping to deter Russia, it is insufficient. After three and a half years of war, assistance remains inadequate, and words are not backed by specific actions.

European Promises Without Concrete Actions

A similar situation exists with Macron's forces. The lack of readiness for actual intervention devalues any 'deterrent forces'. The wording of coalition documents once again demonstrates the caution of countries willing to provide resources but reluctant to send their troops to the conflict zone.

The number of countries willing to risk sending their troops remains unknown.

The issue of Ukraine's NATO membership was excluded from the agenda of the meeting, indicating concessions to the Kremlin. In reality, Ukraine remains alone in the face of Russian aggression, while allies limit themselves to merely remote support.

At the last meeting of the representatives of the 'Coalition of the Willing', the situation in the east of the country was discussed. European leaders expressed support but refused specific actions, which caused outrage in Ukrainian society. Ukraine continues to be on the front lines of the struggle against Russian aggression, not receiving adequate support from its European partners.

The situation regarding the commitments of Western countries to Ukraine raises more and more questions. Despite numerous statements of support, real actions and military assistance remain at a low level. This underscores the importance of active dialogue and concrete steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability in light of the current threat. Without clear commitments and decisive actions, the situation may remain uncertain.
