Boris Ignatiev: My pension is not enough for many things

Former coach of the Russian national football team Boris Ignatiev expressed his dissatisfaction with the amount of his pension. He noted that it would be desirable to have a higher pension, as the current amount is not enough for many necessary things and basic needs.

“Most pensioners are, of course, dissatisfied with their pensions. Personally, I belong to this number. It would be preferable for my pension to be higher. Pensioners need to eat well, dress well, pay for an apartment, and many other things. The amount I receive is not enough for many household items,” said Ignatiev.

Ignatiev also stated that under the conditions of only receiving a pension, it would be very difficult for him to survive without additional savings.

“Could I live only on my pension? It would be very difficult for me without additional savings,” said the 84-year-old former coach.

It is worth noting that Ignatiev was the head coach of the Russian national football team for two years and also worked as an assistant coach for Kyiv's Dynamo.
