A simplified procedure for compensation for utility services for institutions housing internally displaced persons has been implemented. Now, reimbursements will be paid directly to the institutions, which will facilitate more effective and transparent distribution of funds.
Main changes
- The Pension Fund will be responsible for payments without delays.
- Compensation can be received by institutions of any ownership form.
- The necessity for paper reporting has been eliminated, the amount of compensation will be determined individually.
'Support for internally displaced persons and provision of housing is a priority. The innovations create a simple mechanism for cooperation between institutions and the state; the mentioned transactions will be digital, and we will avoid unnecessary paperwork, the Pension Fund will act as the payment administrator, which will enhance speed and efficiency,'noted the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich.
The new procedure for submitting compensation applications
Starting from July, institutions will be able to submit applications directly to the Pension Fund. Expenses for the period from January to April will be reimbursed through social protection services.
This step will promote stability in providing assistance to internally displaced persons and reliability of funding for institutions that accommodate them.
