Pope Francis met with King Charles III of Britain and Queen Camilla at the Vatican. This was their first meeting after the Pope was discharged from the hospital, where he spent five weeks. It was planned that he would meet Charles, but due to his health condition, the visit was postponed. He received the invitation to the audience unofficially on Wednesday. The meeting took place and lasted about 20 minutes, during which they also exchanged gifts.
It was previously reported that Pope Francis continues his treatment at his residence. He also called for prayers for peace for countries including Ukraine.
Note that on March 23, the Pope appeared on the balcony of the hospital in a wheelchair, and his appearance was greeted with applause.
